Admission Requirements
A provincial Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
A Red Seal Trades Qualification or recognized technology diploma or equivalent.
Students with a recognized four-year trades qualification or technology diploma can gain up to 60 credits for the trade or diploma. The total number of credits that you can transfer to this program beyond the trade/tech credits will be assessed for applicability to the program requirements after your admission.
Residency Requirements
A minimum of 15 TRU credits (online or on-campus)
Degree Requirements
120 credits total, including at least 45 upper-level credits, with a GPA of 2.00 over all courses required to complete this credential.
Breadth Requirements (15 credits)
Three of the 15 credits in the breadth courses MUST be upper level
- Three credits in English (ENGL 1001, ENGL 1011, ENGL 1021, ENGL 1031, ENGL 1101)
- Three credits in applied communications (CMNS 1291 or CMNS 1811)
- Three credits in computing science (COMP 1131 or MIST 2611) or equivalent
- Three credits in natural science (generally, upper level)
- Three credits in liberal arts or science (generally, upper level)
Leadership Requirements (18 credits)
