Protection of Privacy
Thompson Rivers University is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all members of the University community.
The University's Privacy and Access Office plays a lead role in ensuring that the University maintains appropriate standards in protecting personal privacy.
We do this by working collaboratively with members of the University community: (i) to assist them in meeting their obligations with respect to privacy rights, and (ii) to provide education and training to the members of the community with regard to privacy rights. In this respect, we are committed to assisting the University in meeting its compliance requirements under the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
