Chair's Message
Welcome to the department of Literatures, Languages, and Performing Arts.
LLPA offers major programs in Theatre and English, minors in Theatre, English and Creative Writing, as well as offering courses in Languages (French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and several First Nations languages) and Music.
We house the Actors Workshop Theatre which produces 4 shows a year, including our Senior Showcase which features student playwrights, directors, and actors.
Whether you are interested in majoring, minoring, or simply taking our courses as electives, you will never regret the skills you learn in communication and creative problem solving, and the connections you make.
We have an excellent faculty of dedicated instructors and researchers with a wide range of specialties, and our goal is to make your education valuable, engaging, and memorable.
