The power of food is overreaching. It can bridge cultures, engage countries, and inspire individuals. In today’s world the issue of food safety and security is more prominent than ever, add the curiosity of wanting to know where our food comes from and there are endless avenues to start pursuing your craft.
While studying with us in the Culinary Arts program at TRU, you will establish a strong foundation of preparation skills that will feed your desire for creativity and hopefully inspire a life-long passion in Culinary. Myself and the culinary team are excited to help you along your path, our goal is to assist you discover what options there are in the world of food while supporting you professionally through the various levels of training.
While studying, you will forge lifelong relationships and I encourage you to engage, support and celebrate not only your successes but those around you as well. Efficient kitchen brigades function like teams and understanding this while striving to improve individually is an essential aspect of career development.
