Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the MEEM, students are able to:

  1. Apply positive and normative economics to environmental, natural resource and social problems.
  2. Formulate alternative solutions to problems with the consideration of complexity and uncertainty.
  3. Effectively communicate sustainability issues and solutions in both oral and written forms to a variety of audiences.
  4. Work collaboratively on fundamental challenges of sustainability.
  5. Incorporate ethics and social responsibility in decision-making.
  6. Conduct research to investigate an environmental economics, management, or sustainability issue.
