Thompson Rivers University has one of the largest Indigenous student populations among BC post-secondary institutions.
TRU offers services and supports designed to enhance Indigenous students’ post-secondary experiences. The School of Nursing works closely to promote on students’ strengths and connect with academic, personal, social, cultural, and financial supports, as needed, to promote their success in nursing.
The of Nursing aims to build inter-cultural understanding, providing culturally inclusive and responsive education with a focus on Indigenous research and practice including recruitment, retention, and success of Indigenous students.
