dalyk21@mytru.caHi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a 3L at TRU Law. I was born and mostly raised in metro Vancouver, but I also lived within the BC interior for a couple of years. I completed my undergraduate degree in the USA, where I was a four-year student-athlete, before going straight to law school. During both my 1L and 2L summers, I worked for a criminal law firm in Surrey, and I intend to continue working within criminal law. At TRU, I've enjoyed being involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the TRU Criminal Law Club, the TRU Lawggers Hockey Club, and more. I also work part-time during the school year in the Kamloops community. I am happy to discuss anything from moving to/living in Kamloops, transitioning to law school, specific classes or areas of law, and/or answer any general questions you may have. TRU Law is truly a collegial environment where everyone supports each other, both academically and outside of the classroom. Moving to Kamloops from Toronto, Ontario had it's challenges but I can say without a doubt it has made me stronger and been the most rewarding learning experience.
