Certificate Requirements
EAP Foundations Certificate ESAL 0220, 0230, 0250, 0270, 0280
EAP Intermediate Certificate ESAL 0320, 0340, 0350, 0370, 0380
(Students may use any two core ESAL courses at a higher level to qualify for this certificate.)
EAP Pre-Advanced Certificate ESAL 0420, 0450, 0470, 0480 and one ESAL elective course
(Students may use either an ESAL elective or undergraduate course to qualify for this certificate; students may use two ESAL courses at a higher level to qualify for this certificate.)
EAP Advanced Certificate ESAL 0570, 0580, and two additional courses
(Students may use either ESAL electives or undergraduate courses to qualify for this certificate.)

Note: Level 5 core ESAL courses cannot be used as a substitute for an ESAL elective.
