Observatory
The new astronomical observatory at TRU was completed in spring 2005. It is situated atop the new three-storey International Building featuring an outdoor observation platform and a 6 metre dome housing a reflector telescope on an equatorial mount with a Gemini GoTo positioning system.
It replaced the old wooden observatory that was built on the same site by Dr. Roland Cobb in 1972.
