Employment Outcomes
TRU Law graduates have enjoyed success in the job market.
Over the past five years, 97-99% of students known to be seeking articles reportedly secured them within nine months of graduation. TRU students have been successful in obtaining positions in private practice, including with well-known regional, national, and international law firms. They’ve obtained clerkship positions with various Canadian courts, and they’ve obtained jobs with government employers, non-profits, and corporations.
More detailed information about our graduates’ employment outcomes over the past five years can be found below.

In compiling employment statistics, TRU Law follows the North American convention of reporting figures as at nine months after graduation. * This percentage refers to the number of students who reportedly secured articles out of those who were seeking articles. Students who chose not to seek articles, or whose status could not be confirmed, were not included in this calculation. |
